Dr. Carrie Edgerton

Dr. Edgerton grew up in New Bern, NC, and was always interested in veterinary medicine. She did her undergraduate work at NC State, majoring in animal science and was accepted into NC State’s Vet School. She graduated in May, 2007 with a special interest in small animal and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Edgerton joined Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital in October 2007 where she enjoys treating dogs, cats, small mammals, rodents, and reptiles. She extends those skills while also working part-time in an all-exotics clinic outside Charlotte, NC.

Dr. Edgerton lives in Oxford, NC with her cat “Sprinkles”, a bearded dragon named Pogo, and a baby Red Footed Tortoise named Jasper. She enjoys all outside activities, working in her yard, and spending time with family and friends.
