Dr. Larry Swenberg
Dr.
Larry Swenberg is a 1970 graduate of the University of Minnesota. After
completing an internship at the Angel Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston,
Massachusetts, he joined a group practice in Cincinnati, Ohio where
he met and worked with Dr. Don Heagren, his current partner. In 1978,
Dr. Swenberg and Dr. Heagren decided to strike out on their own by acquiring
Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital in Durham, NC.
While practicing general small animal medicine and surgery, Dr. Swenberg
particularly enjoys orthopedic surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Swenberg
lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Gwen; family cat, Marvin; and their
