Cornwallis
Road Animal Hospital was established in the 1950's and has been under
the same ownership since 1978. We are a full service AAHA 4-year accredited
hospital and provide comprehensive healthcare including dentistry, radiology,
soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, laser surgery, geriatrics, and EKG
to dogs, cats, pocket pets (gerbils, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits,
etc.), ferrets as well as birds and reptiles. For added convenience,
we provide drop-off service allowing the clients to leave their pet
for treatment/services, to be picked up again later in the day. Geriatric
patients, or patients with multiple health problems, can board at the
hospital and be under direct supervision of a veterinarian.
Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital is a member of the Triangle Pets Emergency
Treatment service after hours hospital. This means that our patients can
receive treatment after hours and on weekends at a reduced rate. We are
also a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and have
been since the 1950's. AAHA membership requires adherence to strict standards
and we have continually met or exceeded these, giving us their highest
accreditation.
